ARM is working with Certified Enrollment Services (Naperville, IL) to implement a new risk credentialing and claims audit tool.
Launched as a joint project with Employer Coalition On Health (ECOH, Rockford, IL), the expected launch date is March 1, 2010.
Fully insured employers will be able to identify the health risks they face and be better able to make informed decisions about funding, plan design and Wellness Programs. ARM will be providing ongoing audits of claims processed by insurers and acting as a Third Party Administrator for self-funded plans.
ARM has contracted with Health Payment Systems (Milwaukee, WI) to provide PPO network access for ARM groups within the HPS service area, which includes the East-West strip from Madison to Milwaukee and most of the cities on Lake Michigan. HPS has developed a PPO network and a Super EOB.
HPS's innovative approach is based upon two fundamental principles. First, employees find it difficult to understand how much they need to pay various providers they have used. Second, providers have been hit hard by plans that have high out of pocket limits as they find themselves in the collection business, rather than the healthcare business. The HPS model affectively addresses these two issues.
HPS is running a promotion for new groups in 2010. HPS will reimburse the employer up to $3.65 per employee per month to cover the cost of network access through HealthEOS or IHG. Visit www.hps.md for more information.
All of us here at ARM welcome our newest client, Coastal Villages Region Fund. Coastal Villages Region Fund employs approximately 75 employees and represents the interests of over 20 villages on Alaska's west coast.
Coastal Villages Region Fund, formerly known as Coastal Villages Fishing Cooperative, has been in existence since 1992, representing 20 coastal villages down from Platinum up to Scammon Bay, and 3 Kuskokwim river villages.
CVRF is one of six western Alaska community development quota groups guaranteed a share of the rich Bering Sea fishery through the unique Community Development Quota program.
CVRF is paid a royalty fee for their quota shares by industry partners who harvest the fish. Royalty fees and their purposeful investments fund the many economic and human resource development programs being delivered today in the CVRF region.
